Brand Design and Art Direction for a superfoods company
The Brief
The founders of Yourlixir were on a mission to create the healthiest and most delicious superfoods on the market. They had a clear vision in mind which was brand design that broke out of the standard look of health foods and focused on communicating the high-quality ingredients in their products at a glance.
The Solution
The goal was to balance a design that felt both organic and clinical-grade. Inspired by the idea that high-quality superfoods can be a form of prescription to achieve better health I formed the "x" in the logo to reflect the Rx symbol used by pharmacy. The logo was created with a delicate stroke weight that felt light and airy like the formulations the founders were so proud of. The primary brand colors, cool green and flamingo pink, were incorporated as a nod to the match formulation as well as the lotus flowers in Bali where the company was founded.
Once the brand identity was solidified I worked with the founders to build the website as well as lead the creative direction for product photography and marketing.
